How was camp? (I can’t tell you)

I was fortunate to be part of the group who attended camp last week. Beneficial experiences like these are hard to explain, you just had to be there to understand. If you didn’t go, here’s what you missed…

1) Teamwork-I Corinthians 3:9 says For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. Christian workers strive for oneness, leaning on each other while accomplishing tasks for the Kingdom. Working & serving God makes the labor easy & satisfying.

2) Investment-I Corinthians 15:58 says Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Having the greatest job or running the most successful business pales in comparison when toiling for the Master.

3) Relationships-Acts 2:46-47 says So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. We worshiped God several times each day. Being away from the world created a greater desire to worship God. We grew closer to each other & more importantly to our Father.

Work schedules & various challenges may prevent you from attending camp. If you can, please attend camp with us, you will be glad you did. You’ve got fifty-one weeks to plan so you can answer, “How was camp?”
