The Birth of Sin

One of the greatest joys of a father is being able to see the birth of their children. The excitement, love, and unknown is so overwhelming. Lives change so much with the birth of children! Change in such a great way!

On the other hand, the birth of sin is the total opposite. There may be excitement, but only for a short period of time. Satan is the one that is loving the fact that you have sinned and turned away from God. There is no unknown. We know the exact result of sin in our lives.gift-eternal-life-what-is-sin

James 1:14-15 states “But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”
We know exactly how sin begins in our lives. We are each tempted by Satan in ways that he knows we struggle with. Each of us have desires and when we give in to those desires, that brings about the birth of sin in our lives. The birth of sin in our lives can create a separation between God and ourselves.

Isaiah 59:2 “but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.
With this separation that we see back in Isaiah because of our sins, the result is death James states. When we give in to our worldly desires and the temptations that Satan puts before us, the result is spiritual death. Spiritual death is no place I desire to be. Thus we must guard against the birth of sin in our lives.

Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

Protect yourself against Satan. The blood of Christ is the only way to save ourselves from the sin in our lives. We must obey and love Him in order to have the excitement and love from our Heavenly Father.
