Comfort

While we anticipate the rise of the sun each day so we can begin our list of chores, assignments, and complete our plans, we also deal with challenges. On some level, we all battle frustration, “aloneness,” hurt, and problems. Many times, we may feel it is “us” versus the “world” with no support from anyone. The good news is as a Christian, we are part of God’s family! God loves us! Romans 8:37-39 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Please know you are never alone and your are always loved!

Being part of God’s family also means we can count on one another. We need to be there for one another for comfort and support! 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

The great thing about being a child of God is we can count on Him and each other. God supplies our needs and let us support one another.
