Souls Souls Souls

After we obey the Gospel, we strive to grow closer to Christ. We attend Bible class consistently, engage in worship services, and join in the fellowship activities of the church. While we are commanded to study (II Timothy 2:15), attend worship services (Hebrews 10:25-26), & interact with our brothers and sisters during the ups & downs of life (Romans 12:15), we must not forget our focus on lost souls! What can we do to save the lost?

Galatians 2:20 says I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. We should be looking for ways to attract souls by reflecting Christ, not drive them away.

Hebrews 5:12-14 says For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. We must prepare ourselves to teach the lost the Good News.

Matthew 16:26 says For what profit is it to a man if the gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? The Lord values souls more than physical life, so should we.

Personal spiritual growth is a must, reaching the lost is our mission!
